Airdrie Dads, a group that originated on Facebook, is ready to tee off for their 7th Annual Airdrie Dads Golf Tournament.
According to Jeremy Winterton, a member of Airdrie Dads, the golf tournament started out as a simple idea for a bunch of dads to get together and play some golf. From there, it grew into the annual fundraiser it is today.
The golf tournament supports three Airdrie organizations: The Airdrie Food Bank, The Nathan O'Brien Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie. There is a 50/50 draw as well as a silent auction.
Last year, in 2021, the golf tournament raised over $30,000.
