Braedan's dad, Jonathon, is proud of his son for following through on their family's emergency plan.

Braedan's parents were both at work when the fire broke out and their son was home from school for about a half-hour before they returned. Jonathon says he got the call on his cellphone from his son, saying he was across the street and EMS had been called.

Husky Heroes are nominated by Emergency Communications Officers throughout the year. Click this link for more information: http://www.emsfoundation.ca/programs_husky_heroes.asp
