Traffic is no longer slow going on 8th Street between Balzac and Airdrie. An accident was causing delays.

According to reports, a dump truck had lost its load heading northbound near Alta Genetics, and was causing major delays in both directions.

Crews were on the scene and reports were also stating people were turning around and going the other way.

The QEII was just as busy as construction was causing major delays by the 40th Avenue Overpass.
