The Airdrie Angel Program is about giving a lift to the spirit and providing a helping hand to those in difficult circumstances.
Thanks to Matt and Michelle Carre of the Carre Group RE/MAX Rocky View, many Angels have reached out to help those they love and care for in their community.
The November recipient of the Airdrie Angel Program is Harry Flynn, a man who despite numerous health concerns still brings a smile to those around him.
Harry was nominated by his grandchildren Chantel and David who explained the hardship that he and his wife Debbie have gone through.
Not long ago, Harry discovered that he had stage four lung cancer as well as prostate and pelvic cancer.
Despite recently starting chemotherapy, the cancers have shown no signs of backing down, and according to Chantel and David, Harry won't have much longer to live.
Harry's wife Debbie had to take compassionate leave from work in order to care for her husband and take him to the hospital for his treatment sessions.
The price of these treatments and the medications has put the couple in financial hardship with paying bills becoming a struggle.
Despite these circumstances, Harry and Debbie continue to live life to the fullest.
The couple have been married for 22 years and will soon renew their wedding vows, knowing that this could be their last few months together.
Chantel and David describe their grandfather as a caring and kind man who would help complete strangers no matter the cost.
Have a listen to this month's recipient of the Airdrie Angel Program, Harry Flynn and his wife Debbie.
