The last time we saw Magician Braden Pole was not long after his impressive showing at the 2015 Calgary Stampede Talent Search.

Balzac's master of wizardry was the second runner up at the competition which eventually went to Airdrie singer Christian Hudson.

To say that Pole has been busy since the Talent Search is an understatement, as the 19 year old has been to several events and even a tour to Southern Africa.

Pole visited different cities in South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe on his tour, an experience that brought culture shock as well as some amazing memories.

In the last few months Pole has been working on building his career as a magician, which includes learning the tricks and trades of running the business side of the profession.

Despite his crazy schedule, Pole still enjoys what he does and has taken his love of magic to local events like the Airdrie Farmer's Market and working with the performing arts group Legacy One.

As we hoped, Braden had a chance to perform a trick in studio.

While he hoped to record his unusual feat on his phone, unfortunately, it stopped recording mid way through.

Luckily, we got our own footage of Braden's Magic as well as his "foresight" into the weather forecast for Airdrie.
