An email crossed our desk here at AIr 1061 early this morning. Simply put, it inspired a desire to help and when you hear this story you may end up wanting to do just the same.
6 Year old Logan, a student at Ralph McCall school recently lost a close family friend to cancer and, at such an early age, going through something like that can be confusing, scary and plain indescribable. But her reaction to this tragic moment in her life is one that will put a smile of hope on your face, a positive reaction that we sure could use a lot more of in this world. She decided that she wants to join the fight against cancer and play the biggest part she possibly can in finding a future where no one will lose their life to cancer ever again.
That is why Logan started a Toonie fundraiser at her school, but that was just the first step. She also started this fundraiser webpage in order to reach as many people as possible. So far the fundraiser has reached many, but there's always room for more support.
