As a parent, this year will be especially fun for Easter. Why you ask? Because Easter also happens to land on April 1st, AKA April Fools.

I though I would put together a couple fun ideas to try out this Easter Sunday.

  • Thanks to all this fresh snow skip the colored eggs and send your kids on a hunt for hard boiled eggs in the backyard.
  • Instead of hiding any eggs, just tell your kids they are hidden and see how long it takes them to realize there is nothing to find.
  • Fill half your plastic Easter eggs with veggies and empty chocolate wrappers.
  • Take the chocolate out of the wrappers and wrap up grapes instead.

No matter what you do this Easter/April Fools just have fun and be careful what you bite into ;) is Westman's only source for community news and information such as weather and classifieds.
