Do you believe you need 250,000 dollars a year to live comfortably?

A study that was completed by Ledger for an investment firm found that Canadians think they need 250,000 dollars to live comfortably.

A 250,000 pre-tax income translates to roughly 144,000-168.000 per yet post-tax income,  in 2016 Statistics Canada reported an average post-tax household income of $57,000 a year

I personally live off of a  pre-tax household income of around 75,000 dollars between myself and my spouse and I wouldn't say I'm comfortable but 250,000 dollars seems like a far reach for me.

How much money do you believe you need to live comfortably?

Do you already live comfortably?
