Lorelei Talbot, owner/broker with Astoria Asset Management donated over $36,000 to the Airdrie Food Bank on Monday October 5.

The funds were from their 8th annual charity golf tournament and over the last seven years they have donated more than $140,000!  A far cry from the $3,000 they raised in their first year of the tourney.

Lorelei can't thank the community and sponsors enough for their generous support and gives an extra shout out to them because they had to originally postpone the July 18th tourney due to weather.

Not one to miss a beat Woodside Golf Course and the sponsors regrouped and set the date as Friday August 28th and finally the weather cooperated.

Listen in on the conversation from when Lorelei joined the Morning Show today.

We were also able to talk to Sue Methuen, Executive Assistant at the Airdrie Food Bank and she says the donation will provide enough food for 370 people for 7-10 days.
