The FarmSafe Foundation has welcomed three new members to the charity’s Board of Directors.

Shanna Groeneveld, Communications Manager with Crop Production Services, has a strong background in agricultural marketing, communications and training.

Jim Feeny, Director of Public Affairs for CN, brings over 35 years of leadership experience in communications, and public and government affairs.

And Todd Klink, Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer with Farm Credit Canada brings many years of experience with FCC—a long-time farm safety champion—to the table. Klink replaces Lyndon Carlson on the Foundation Board, who retired as Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer with FCC in December 2015.

“Our new Board members add a great complement to our existing governance volunteers," The Chair of the FarmSafe Foundation, Bruce Johnson. " We are so pleased to welcome them to our team as we work to promote farm safety in Canada.”

The FarmSafe Foundation supports the farm safety initiatives of the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association . Through charitable donations, the Foundation supports farm safety education for youth, safety resource development and training, grain safety, and adaptive technology for traumatically injured farmers.
